Overview

ANASIS is the responsive student information system developed for Anadolu University’s on-campus students, instructors and academic units. The platform centralises a broad range of academic and administrative services, including course registration, examination grade entry, attendance management, transcript generation, exam grade lists, weekly course schedules, messaging and questionnaire applications. The system has been in production with an expanding set of services since 2015 and continues to be developed through an agile and iterative software development process. Students can use the platform to manage course registration activities, monitor academic records, access weekly schedules, review grades and attendance information, print transcripts and interact with institutional services through a responsive web interface. Instructors can manage course-related academic processes, enter examination grades and attendance records, access class and grade lists, communicate with students and participate in institutional survey workflows. I contributed to the development and continuous improvement of the platform as part of the software engineering team. My work included the implementation of Java and Spring MVC-based application components, RESTful web services, responsive frontend interfaces, AngularJS modules, database-driven academic workflows and integrations with the university’s enterprise infrastructure. The application was deployed on IBM WebSphere Application Server and used IBM DB2 as its primary relational database platform. The system was designed to support critical academic operations, high-volume institutional data and different user roles within a university-wide production environment. ANASIS represents a long-running enterprise software product rather than a one-time implementation. Its services have evolved according to user feedback, institutional requirements and changing academic processes while remaining actively used in production.
